A true immersion on Ilha do Marajó: the scarlet ibis flight at sunrise, carimbó, Marajoara pottery, and days spent with riverside families.
November 13, 2027 until November 18, 2027
The Expedition lasts 6 days and 5 nightsThis expedition was designed as a true immersion into the island. It is not about passing through quickly, it is about truly being there.
Over the course of nearly a week, you experience Marajó through local families, riverside living, traditional food, Marajoara pottery, and a vibrant culture expressed in music, dance, and storytelling.
Even the date was carefully chosen to coincide with one of the most beautiful times of the year, when flocks of scarlet ibises take flight, painting the sunrise sky in brilliant shades of red.
Scarlet ibis flight, carimbó, and riverside living in a true immersion.

We meet in Belém, the starting point of our expedition. You can arrive at any time, as the idea is to begin our journey at a relaxed pace.
Take the opportunity to visit Ver-o-Peso, the largest open-air market in Latin America, stroll through Mangal das Garças, and sample the local cuisine. Trying authentic açaí here is practically a ritual.
The next morning we depart early by speedboat.
