While many people rush through, we stay. Four overnights along the trek, sleeping in the homes of local families.
The Expedition lasts 6 days and 5 nightsThere are 4 overnights during the trek, with total immersion from day one in Canto de Atins. You sleep in local family homes in Baixa Grande, Queimada dos Britos, and also in Patacas, a community rarely found on conventional itineraries.
This means more time at the lagoons, more sunset swims, and more time connecting with the locals.
It is the kind of trip that changes the way you look at the sand, the water, and simplicity.
Here you do not just pass through Lençóis. You live Lençóis.

The start of the immersion
We depart from São Luís bound for Canto de Atins. Along the way, the boat tour down the Rio Preguiças is an experience in itself, with stops at villages like Vassouras, Mandacaru, and Caburé.
In Canto de Atins, our true immersion begins, staying in a simple, welcoming family homestay full of stories to hear.
