Machu Picchu conquered on foot, crossing the Andes, with days of culture and rest before and after the trail.
August 21, 2027 until August 30, 2027
The Expedition lasts 10 days and 9 nightsReaching Machu Picchu on foot changes everything. On the Inca Journey, you hike the Salkantay Trek and enjoy full days in Cusco and the Sacred Valley, experiencing life alongside Andean families and taking the time to truly feel the culture.
Along the way, you will discover the turquoise waters of Humantay Lake, the Salkantay Pass at 4,600 meters, the transition from high mountain peaks to the Andean jungle, nights in domes and lodges, and your arrival at Machu Picchu via the trail, not a tourist bus.
The journey concludes in Ollantaytambo, a living Inca village, leaving you with that wonderful feeling of a shared accomplishment.
It is not about checking Machu Picchu off a list. It is about taking the Andes home in your heart.
