Machu Picchu conquered on foot, crossing the Andes, with days of culture and rest before and after the trail.
August 22, 2026 until August 31, 2026
The Expedition lasts 10 days and 9 nightsReaching Machu Picchu on foot changes everything. On the Inca Journey, you hike the Salkantay trek and also get full days in Cusco and the Sacred Valley, experiencing life with Andean families and taking the time to feel the culture at a peaceful pace.
Along the way, you will find the turquoise waters of Humantay Lake, the Salkantay Pass at 4,600 meters, the transition from high mountains to the Andean jungle, nights spent in domes and lodges, and arriving at Machu Picchu via the trail, not the tourist bus.
The journey ends in Ollantaytambo, a living Inca village, with that wonderful feeling of a shared accomplishment with your group.
It is not about checking Machu Picchu off your list. It is about carrying the Andes in your heart.
